Conference Registration
The conference cost 350 CHF for all participants. The conference rate includes all coffee breaks, lunches and dinners from Sunday to Thursday. Students are eligible for a reduced rate. Email registration@alpchi.org with proof of student status or ID to receive instructions once registration opens.The conference is deliberately small and focused, and full participation from Sunday through Thursday is expected from each registered participant.

ETHZ is collecting the registration fees on behalf of AlpCHI. The payment of the registration fee on the CSF online platform is possible only via credit card, TWINT, Apple Pay and Google Pay. If a participant is unable to pay the registration fee via the online platform, please contact us via registration@alpchi.org.
How to Register:
– Complete the registration form (link to be provided).
– After payment, you will receive two emails: (1) Payment confirmation from Saferpay (check spam folder)
and (2) a CSF platform email with optional room booking information
Hotel Options
We recommend booking at CSF directly at the Monte Verità Centre, but other hotels in Ascona (15–20 minutes walk) are also an option. Early booking is advised to secure the conference rates.

Hotel La Perla
Hotel La Perla will open its main building only if at least 25 rooms are booked. If you are interested please register your interest here via this link until 18.01.2026.
Main Building Rooms:
Single room with balcony: CHF 105 per night, including breakfast
Double room (Panorama) for single use: CHF 155 per night, including breakfast
Tourist tax: CHF 5.45 per person per day

Cancellation Policy:
Free until 31.01.2026
From 01.02.2026 until no-show or early departure: 100% of each reserved night
Participants interested in Hotel La Perla should indicate interest via this form until 18.01.2026 registration. The hotel will confirm bookings once at least 25 reservations are collected.
Other Hotels
In case there is no availability or in case you do not wish to stay at Hotel Monte Verità, you can look for another hotel in Ascona (15 to 20 min. walking distance from Monte Verita Centre).
⚠ For all partipants of AlpCHI that stay at the CSF: There have been phishing emails with the subject “Accommodation in Ascona”, where a UK/US based firm wants to sell you a hotel room during the conference. Don’t reply to these emails or click on any links therein.
